Come find our small and cozy cabin seated in the lush gardens of Gridania's Lavender Beds. This rustic and single floor log cottage has quite the collections of books, and all it takes is to pick up the right one to find a whole new world.

    A revival of an old abandoned speakeasy, The Ravel's newest owners have refurbished this cottage's secret basement area, saving it from disrepair and looking to give it new life among the nightlife of Eorzea. Currently, a few drinks are either brewed in-house or acquired through other undisclosed channels, but each bottle and glass has its own story to share with those brave enough to listen.Dotted around the premises are various knick-knacks and paraphernalia that aren't all too familiar to the average adventurer, and if you were to ask the owner and employees, they will merely shrug and say they just "found it" one day in the backyard.The cottage is host to a few fairly unique annex rooms as well, all of which are currently free to access, but do come with a warning.'Be careful on where you rest your head, because you may just wake up where you don't belong.'Otherwise, we of The Ravel Speakeasy & Cabaret invite you to come, relax, enjoy the music while you raise a glass to the past, drink what they drank and remember-you were never here.

    A Legacy to Remember

    For those unaware, the Ravel's founder, Hekate Apothecare, struggled against Stage 4 Sarcoma the last year of their young life, leading them to be unable to continue running this venue as their health began to decline, with the cancer ultimately taking their life in September of 2024 at the age of 27.They were loved by many, both in real life and in Final Fantasy XIV, and I have decided to try to revive the Ravel in their honor and make it the venue they always dreamed it could be.In memory of their passing, we will annually host a charity event in the month of September to hopefully raise money to aid those suffering with sarcoma, cancer in general, or other things that I believe Hekate would approve of - primarily LGBTQIA+ rights, struggling artists, mental health support, and similar causes.For information on the memorial event, please check out the carrd linked below.
